Title: AH3 starts installation then crashes. Have I became obsolete?
Post by: sparow on September 27, 2016, 10:45:27 AM
Hi chaps!  :old:

Proceeded to download AH3 to see if my system would support it, at least ofline. All went well until I started the installation. It starts but around the terrains d/l crashes. Maybe I have finally met obsolescence.  :( Tell me the blunt truth. Here's my DXDIAG below.

Title: Re: AH3 starts installation then crashes. Have I became obsolete?
Post by: Skuzzy on September 27, 2016, 10:53:24 AM
The system does not meet the minimum requirements for Aces High III.  The CPU is below the 2.4Ghz minimum required.

Windows XP must have 4GB of system memory and a video card with a minimum of 1GB of dedicated video RAM.

All other operating systems, after Vista (Vista is not supported), require a minimum of 4GB of system RAM and 512MB of dedicated video RAM.

The game crashing is simply due to a lack of hardware resources need to start the game.

Wish I had better news.

Thank you Skuzzy. I was afraid that it was the end of the road for this machine.

I'll be back. Keep up the good work!
