Title: Request: Soft shadows.
Post by: GScholz on October 01, 2016, 08:21:37 PM: At least in Dx11 mode can we please have soft shadows? Pretty please! I've had to turn off shadows altogether because their blocky flickering is just too distracting.

the edges of the shadows aren't blurred so they look more realistic

I find it similar. Near ground with them on, major hit. Would really like to see the ability to have self shadows only. Shadows in the cockpit/on my plane add a lot, IMO.

Post by: GScholz on October 04, 2016, 12:16:15 PM: Thing is I don't think dx9 supports soft shadows. If you have a dx11 capable GPU you will get much better performance with shadows on.
