It works.
Wow, just wow! Doing fancy tricks with a classical guitar is much less forgiving than doing them on a slim neck electric with loads of overdrive.

I once saw an Andy Griffith show where one of the guests was sweep picking much like yngwie.
I'm sure some other musician convinced this guy hammering on the classical that it was a dead end out of jealousy and he soon dropped it.
Eddie was just cool enough to add this to his huge arsenal of techniques and it got the most attention...............but eddie's far more than a one trick pony and hasn't lost a step at all.
Others have taking tapping a bit further.
