Title: I am here to remind you how much fun it is....
Post by: snakeplissken on October 15, 2016, 12:11:55 AM
My squad had bombers this week.  We had a blast.  Just like we do on most Friday nights.  To make numbers Jaeger and SKzone flew with us.  They gave up their ride in fighters just to make numbers.  As we crossed feet dry, the Allies met us and they were Rude!  Not Welcoming at all.  It looked like their entire Air Force was there.  I saw P40's and Spits and a squaddie called Hurricanes. We are blessed to be able to fly with DFA.  Great guys like Vart and Bret and FGbullet.  Our missions are usually 20-30 mins of joking followed by 5 minutes of sheer terror.  I am telling you, Hitech has invented a chat room with something to do.  We laugh, drink beer, there are inappropriate jokes and in some cases, better living through chemistry.  Still, it is the best time.  We have a saying in our squad, you can give us Wright flyers with Lugers and we are in.  It is all about hanging out with your friends with no chance of a DUI.  That is what makes FSO great, not the planes, not the mission but the people. ~~~ Snake ~~~

<S> We do what it takes. JG54 is always happy to step in whenever and where ever needed. We had a fun time and will to continue doing what we do! mind you that JG54
also has elements of the sky nights, and other squads with us. <S> to skfgalpo, ozone, and the rest of the SK's, and all the other guys for helping make JG54 what it is today!

on a side note, I was however, a little disappointed at the quality of sheep that the unforgiven have.  :rofl

Yeah..Well said...And another thing... AHIII seems to be really clicking in. Bugs mostly gone. Anyone remember that first AHIII FSO a few weeks back? Last night in a P40 We were CAP over 66 and rolled into a left turn to stay in our area. Awesome clouds, Perfect haze, near photographic aircraft/cockpits, and as we rolled into the turn, the sun glinted momentarily off my lead's canopy. I had to remember the first AH with mountains that looked like a pile of triangles... If it gets any better I worry about neighbors someday finding my cobweb infested skeleton at my desk with AH running where apparently, I forgot to eat.

Well put, Snake!

Plus, as Mrs. Bino has occasionally remarked, AH is both cheaper and safer than a Cessna.   ;)
