Without losing any other channels?
-
I don't recall that it is possible to disable the "all" channel....if you're referring to channel 1 - All Countries - channel
That is why HTC disabled it in AH/AH2 , except for sending salutes only....so if a player wanted to text/talk across country, they did it at their own choice, by tuning to ch200
Have you tried .squelch radio 1
or .squelch channel 1
Hope this helps

Right click on ALL tab on text area.
Select Edit Settings.
Deselect 1/100.
Voila...no more "all" channel.

Only problem in that you will not get .s alutes now

You still should. Salutes are system messages and should still appear if you filter out the All channel. The only time you won't see a salute is if you filter out the system messages.

Tried squelching channel 1 and got the message that the channel was squelched, but results were inconclusive. Need more people online.
Un-checking channel 1/200 also removes salutes. That's the reason for this thread.

Will this be fixed?
I decided to turn off 1/200 to get rid of the white text nonsense chatter, but now I don't get pms or salutes.
Seems like an unnecessary change from 2 to 3.

I kind of assumed 1 still being available in the melee was an oversight, as I was given to understand it was disabled in the backwhen for a reason. Has it been re-enabled for a reason?
Wiley.

Whut?!? PM's belonging to the All/200 group? And salutes too? The latter I might be able to somewhat understand but not the former.

Unless it's been changed since AH2, <salutes> have been under system messages.
