A couple of issues keep coming up and are reported with no fixes. Could be though the these are not bugs in HTC game design. It would be helpful to know.
Some planes on some maps spawning on a non-runway is it a bug or by design?
Is the difficulty in water landing a bug or by design?

Hitech already answered that one and reported it would be fixed in the next update. HTC fixes things as they come up with solutions. The same with the airplane spawn thing.

The bad spawn had been reported in beta and then again when it went live. That is why I asked. I missed the htc reply that it would be fixed.

Apparently a bug, and will be fixed.

The spawn point to the side of the runway on the huge field is a feature, not a bug. The ditching on water is supposed to be fixed next patch.

I think the problem with the spawn point was that you could not land there without getting a ditch. I think that is what Hitech was addressing about that problem.

That should be fixed now.

2. Made the map room ICON bigger.
3. If a CTD happens Aces High III should now create a "dmp" file in the Aces High III "temp" folder.

4. Made a change to how the RPM governor works, with speed changes.
5. Moved the XBox controller display, in VR mode, to the left of the clipboard.
6. Fixed a GUI issue that displayed "Tracer change will take effect next flight" when moving the HUD alpha sliders.
7. Fixed a VR issue where the GUI windows were too small.
8. Changed the range at which you can adjust the GUI sphere.
9. Upgraded Oculus Rift drivers to version 1.8.
10. You can now exit at the extra huge air filed spawn point safely
11. Moved the default clipboard position in VR a little farther away.

I am still confused on the spawn of planes on some areas that are not runways. Is it a bug? Should we be reporting a .Psave when this happens?
If it is a new feature then make the runways a bit easier to see please.

A .psave would be appropriate.

Randy you do know that some fields have a grass runway that runs along side of the main tarred runway and that fighters will spawn in on these.

Yes I do. These spawns are not on a runway, grass or not. With a little dodging, you can often take off. I have not ran into this problem with bombers.
