I have been logged in with my oculus rift dk2 playing well today. I exited the game and came back 5 mins later and now I get a windows aceshigh11.exe has stopped working. This happens online or offline. ONline after selecting the arena. Restarting the pc has not resolved this. Any suggestions?
OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
CPU i5-6400 @ 2.70 Ghz
video card gtx 970
system memory 8192 MB
I just did the version update and still get the same thing

Where are you launching the game from?
Is it crashing before you see the splash screen?
Also note, there should be a "dmp" file in the "temp" folder of the Aces High III directory which you can post here. It will help use find where than crash is occurring.

no, I get the splash screen and I am able to select online. Its after I select the areana that I t crashes. I renamed my setting folder like you asked and was able to log in to the arena, but all my settings have changed. Can I copy anything from the renamed settings folder?

Please post a zip file of the contents of that old "settings" folder so we can find out what was causing the crash. Thank you.
Yes, you can selectively copy the old settings files back. One of them (or more) is the cause of the crash though.

Did you happen to find any "dmp" files in the "temp" folder? Those would be a good thing too.

negative on the dmp files. I did find the VR_filters to be the bad file. I have moved all the old files to the settings folder except that one and I can login to the arena as well as offline.
