I'm looking for a 27 to 32-inch wall-mountable monitor that would work well for AH3 with my GTX 1060 video card -- all at preferably less than $300.
Suggestions?

Tom's Hardware recommendations for best gaming monitors.

In that price range you will probably be looking for a TV with a gaming mode to reduce lag. Do a google to find several testing and rating sources.

Randy, please!
5ms response time, $199 32" IPS:

It does have a 200x100 mounting.

Thank you all for the suggestions. As much as I'd enjoy owning a full-fledged gaming monitor, that is a bit beyond my budget at the size I was hoping for. I guess the question is whether I'd appreciate the difference in visual quality with Aces High on a 24" gaming monitor vs a 32" "standard" monitor.

The visual quality is not as big of an issue as the lag in the time between your pc tells your tv/monitor to display an image and the time it takes for the tv/monitor to process then display that image. That is why Chalenge posted the model in his post with 5 ms lag time.
I use a HDTV but I did make sure my lag numbers were good. If I use the "Standard" setting on the hdtv, the lag is notably bad. The "Gaming" setting is better and works for me but it is not as fast as the one Chalenge posted.
I would also say bigger is better if the lag numbers are acceptable.
Do a google on acceptable lag times.

Display lag is the time it takes for a monitor to process and display an image. Response time is a transition period from one state to another, like grey to grey, or black to white, etc.
If display lag is measured as 2-3 frames on a 60Hz monitor, then it is not significant even if you can see the transition because you will not be able to determine when the transition was supposed to occur. If it is 30-40 frames then that is significant.
A response time of 1-8ms is not significant, but 10-15ms could be (isn't always). A 25ms response time is not acceptable.
The problem is that no manufacturer that I am aware of will even list display lag. It is usually only a problem with televisions that are used as monitors, and that also do not have a gaming mode.
Monitors that display higher color counts (you know; the expensive ones), do not offer low response times and should not be used as 'gaming' monitors. Generally they are meant for color accurate applications and are capable of displaying a BILLION colors. They also suffer from severe (30-40frames) display lag in some cases. They are excellent at color-grading and things of that sort, but bad at games.

I use a 42" VIZIO 1080p HDTV as my monitor. Works great. Got it on eBay or Amazon for like $299
