Well now I've got your attention.....
I have added the latest lighting effects to a couple of my older skins, a 365th FS D-40 I originally submitted in 2009 and a 463rd FS P-47N I did in 2006. The last screenshot shows the AH2 D-40 skin for comparison. Apart from AH3's annoying shadow gap bug the new lighting effects make for a much more realistic effect.

Just thinking, with all the Jug enhancements performed in the last 40 years...........we are going to have at some time a bunch of old airframes, wrinkled, sagging under arms
with a pair of nice jugs. Perish the thought. Ugh.

Great looking natural metal!
So much better to have the specularity mapped to features of the skin rather than applied to uniformly to the entire skin. Such gritty and realistic looking detail!
