When I downloaded the new update, I seemed to have picked up an error. I keep getting texture errors and everything comes up black except for the outline of the clipboard and text. I looked at my computer and it says I have both version DX9 and DX11, but I can't seem to uninstall one with out the other. And when in uninstall and reinstall AHIII, I get the same issue. I've also uninstalled aces high 3 and updated the last alpha version with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I get the same problem when I try to adjust the video settings. Happened before the update as well. Whenever I would try to adjust the settings, the screen gets real dark and get messages saying "Texture Creation Error". So I have to uninstall and re-install the game.

This is the same problem I have and it does happen when I adjust the graphic settings. When I uninstalled and downloaded a new version, it was fine until I went in game and adjusted the graphics settings. Then black screen again.

Texture creation errors can happen for a lot of reasons.
The most prominent reason is using a "Maximum Texture Size" too large causing the video card to run out of memory.
An other reason is using an AMD/ATI video card with an older driver.
Does it happen with both the DX9 version and the DX11 version? Canspec, your issue is different from these two.
tuton25, both versions of the game are always installed and accessible through the Windows Start menu. We just make a desktop ICON for the DX9 version only.
Just guessing here. A DXDIAG output would be helpful.

Just went in and reduced the Maximum Texture size. Then tried making the graphics adjustment. It worked! Thanks! :salute

Checked the max texture size and realized that nothing was selected and it was blank. Selected a size and everything went back to normal. The game must have downloaded that way. Not sure why it worked for a bit initially, but it now appears to be fixed. Thanks

Just curious, what is the difference between the DX9 and DX11 versions?

You need the DX11 version for the VR stuff. There are some things to help with speed, but more people seem to find DX9 runs the game faster.
