Title: Me 410: WEP Disabled after Loss of One Engine
Post by: MachNix on November 18, 2016, 03:44:11 PM
Lost (ceased up) the number 2 engine due to an oil leak.  Could not engage WEP on the #1 engine but could adjust RPM and manifold pressure.  The #1 engine was not hot.  Don't know if the loss of WEP for the good engine is by design or a bug.

Think it was that way in AH2 as well.

Long standing bug reported on many twin-engine planes. I thought this one had been fixed, though?

I'm pretty sure I got around that by engaging WEP right before one engine died.

Tuesday the 22nd, I lost #1 engine in a P-38L and was able to WEP it home faster with only #2 turning and burning.
