Hey guys,
I noticed that the cloud flicker is back. Every time I see clouds over head, the disco ball like flickering kicks into high gear. No biggie really, as turning off shadows is simple and also stops the flicker. I know, most would still B and moan about it anyway!!

I noticed it too. In flight it is a little different than it is when you are on the ground. On the ground with clouds casting shadows the flicker of the shadows is downright irritating. in the air it looks like the cloud shadow program (whatever calculates the shadow position) has different results and the shadow dances around the area (usually back-and-forth in one direction).
And they're square. Wouldn't spheres be a faster calculation and draw? Just something I read somewhere.

Yes, noticed them too yesternight. What's even more irritating, they don't flicker at a steady pace. It's like "flick... flick-flick... flick... ... flick... flick-flick..." etc. The shadows jump forward at each flick and return immediately. It's like they were hesitating whether to move to the next panel or not at a rather coarse grid.
