Title: UNsubbed due to the water issue

I did. Disappointing to completely wrap it up after 16 years. And explaining why I did so.

I understand there's a twelve step program for AH addiction but it's held on an eleven step pier! :banana:

I have never hit the water by the way. Well, not with having both wings and a tail.

I did lose one when I misjudged my altitude over the water and crashed so I think they should remove all the water.

I lost another one when I misjudged my angle of attack when it was dark and collided with a B17 and crashed so I think they should remove the dark.

I lost a third one when I snuck up behind a K4 and closed to fast and collided because I suck so I think they should also remove the suck.

The occasional white cap would go along way.........so would looking at your altimeter in a decent. I guess we should ask for Radio Altimeters with a warning alarm

I have flown many hours in a piper warrior over water and also been in snjs over water many times. Yes depth perception is different but you still have it.

There is a way to easily judge your alt over water... its called an altimeter.. it works quite well....but i also fire a few rounds just to help me see.
