Title: DX11 not worth using after last patch
Post by: Randy1 on December 08, 2016, 04:57:57 PM: No DMP. Three screen freezes in just a few minutes
Please fix this.

I had 7 screen freezes that required powering down the pc to get out. Several others on vox and buffer said dx11 was now unplayable since this new patch or a combination of this map and the new patch.

This is an AMD issue. Had seven of these events last night. HTC must not be using AMD cards and probably not using W10 from skuzzy's hate w10 post so that may be the biggest problem.

But from his hate w10 post I would say he does not use w10.

I guess i am just real frustrated with this problem since it seems to be getting worse not better. Nothing worse than having your country mates depending on you like running troops and the screen freezes happens just at the wrong time.

Pudige posted that a new set of AMD drivers has just became available. I tried them yesterday and went the whole session without a stutter or freeze.

Bizman it looks like the problem is AMD with W10. I would note too the problem seems to come back with every patch albeit, I am not sure about this point.

It could be that. If the freezes occur after the next update, I will try a fresh driver install and see what happens.
