Title: Nisis error when trying to run the game

I have been away for over a year and don't have much free time these days but I thought I could down load aces high III and see if my old pc could run the game off line and I could see how the new game looks. I keep getting a nsis error when trying to run the game after I down loaded it. I'm not sure how to upload a dxdiag to the forum, I've played aces high for many years but I'm a noob when it comes to the bbs. Thank you for any help  :salute

For your DxDiag output, read this: http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,71591.msg3215282.html#msg3215282 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,71591.msg3215282.html#msg3215282). There's a button for saving the information, it creates a .txt file. Below the typing field in the message window here is a plus sign saying Attachments and other options where you can browser to the location where you saved the said .txt file.

A wild guess is that your video card isn't up to the task for AH3, the dxdiag output will tell.

Notice that the attachment option is only available on the forums where it's really needed like Technical Support.

The error he is getting is during the installation.  If there is not enough physically free memory to run the installer it could cause an error.  It could also be an anti-xxxx program interfering with the installer.

A DXDIAG output could go a long way in determining the problem.  You can attach the text file to a post.  You do not have to post the contents.

It is as I though it might be.  There is simply not enough physical RAM to run the installer.  Even if you got it installed, there is not enough RAM to run the game.  If you are going to use Windows XP, you will need a minimum of 4GB of system RAM and even then, you will need to disable every graphic option there is in the game.
