I was testing PT spawns offline on my new terrain. If you spawn out on a boat entry point spawn, you can never get to a location that will turn the end sortie button green on the clip board. I tested this on CraterMA online just now to verify. I even drove a PT up the shore next to it's home field thinking it was a proximity to the tower issue to no avail. I guess there have been some confused players thinking they were denied their name in lights because an enemy was hiding near by giving them a ditch message.
If you launch from a CV or the home button at a port, the end sortie button is green if no enemies are around. Also the home button over rides one of the entry point 360 degree settings. If you place only a single entry point aiming NE, there is no NE button, only the home button. If you place multiple entry points, it appears the one closest to the field is overridden by the home button.
With all of the PT spawns on the CraterMA per field it got a bit confusing which spawn was over ridden by the home button until I saw the pattern of a very short spawn at most fields. It makes some spawn directions appear out of sync with the spawn buttons.
Guess PT boats are not all that popular in the game if I'm only catching on to this because I have to test all the spawns I set down on my own terrain.

Yeah, as long as you return to the ships and get in between them. If you launch from a field though you are not going to be able to land it. It would be nice if there were PT Boat bases for the map builders to use.

Pt boats should be like gvs. No enemy within so many miles successful landing... :aok
