Do the WW1 aircraft not have any brakes?
I was noticing last night that mashing on the space bar didn't seem to do anything to slow me down after touchdown and I had to take a really long approach OR rip my gear off and slide in OR drop a wing and drag it to get myself stopped on the airfield to land.
usually spacebar is brakes so not sure if they just don't have any or if that's difference for the WW1 arena. I've only flown in there like twice so not sure.

No brakes. Just like the real ones. :aok

BTW, it was fun last night. For side balancing since it is just a furball arena with instant action after "wheels up", I would have enjoyed 2 countries only. Having 4 reds on your six as soon as I engage someone 10 seconds after wheels up is a bit hardcore. :D

Absolutely, I think we played last night from like 9pm EST to 1AM and there were some times of vulching and uneven sides but overall it really was a blast.
At one point I think there were like 30 people? maybe more.
I think that was like my second time in there. Hopefully Saturday night WW1 is a thing cause I'd like to do that again every weekend. :aok

I had a blast even though I had a hard time seeing and when I pulled up I slammed Frenchy Sorry man but flying the paper airplanes was a nice change in pace. I may be popping in to get used to those planes

Haha no sweat, they was so many of us in such a small place that it was routine to collide with guys you never saw.

Was a blast for hours :aok :neener:

watch some WWII movies or documentaries and you will see they have no brakes-that's why they land away from the lauching point then taxi up to the hanger

Wait, you can land them?

If you know how to "Crab" an aircraft.....the biplanes are pretty easy to land

Make short ranged field ack guns and make them mannable to manually "deter" vulchers. WWI sctuff is always a good time.
