I and others, have noticed that at times you cannot hear players when their name appears in the top right corner. You can hear one than the next you may not hear. Is this a problem with AH III ? This happens on Range and the T key. :headscratch:

in, option/preferences/voice do you have the check box checked for "play voices in sequence". If not they may be walking all over one another and so a name comes up but the voice doesn't play
-
Yes, I have "play voices in sequence" checked.
-
If you have a crappy internet connection it will drop voice too.
-
no, think it's a bug. they just cant nail it down. I have the same problem too.

Thought it was just me, I'm sure they'll get it nailed down.

When I am flying and my ears get cold, I put on my ear muffs. It's about that time I start hearing voices in my head.

This is the first Ive seen of it as a "bug". My squad was pretty wiped out by the switch to AH3 but the few of us still on chat and I cant remember the vox ever having an issue.
-
we on the pigs chanel have it every time we fly.

could it be your pigs are spending to much time squealing and drowning out the voices? :devil

In the past, guys vox mic's were getting "turned down"...and it wasn't until someone told them they couldn't be heard that they knew it. Quite a few guys do mic checks now as a result. Not sure what is causing it in the update process....

In game vox is horrible...the fact that it is in sequence is bad, people should talk over one another...would fix vox lag when you got 15 different people calling out the same thing

AH3 vox has a check box to make it sequential or "talk over", it is in the options/preferences/voice section of the clipboard.

Shuffler, the voices in your head is a Texas thing. Us new Mexico folk keep the voices in our head at bay with a nice reposado tequila. I hear Texans explode when their delicate palettes taste any thing over 6.8 abv.
On an unrelated note. Xmas brought a nivery Ardbeg Currivacan. Yummy.

But it makes you not hear what some people say...like the OP is talking about, now that may be a bug but I'd rather hear everything then the game deciding which person is going to talk over the others.

There is a definite problem with vox! Doesnt matter if you check sequence or not some transmissions are being cut out.
At first I thought it only was with the tune-able channel but recently I have noticed it on range as well, you can see the name light up but hear no sound, then it seems to hang, you can see the name but the other person isnt keyed up.
Part of the issue could be vox loosing patckets as the internet in the US seems to leave much to be desired, some nights vox is worse than others! I have tried many fixes on my end and nothing seems to help so I'm left with either a game issue or a net issue...... not sure which is which.... But there is a definite problem!
YMMV!
:salute

I have developed this problem. Ever time I transmit all others hear is a beep. If I tune to myself nothing there either. Have tried 2 mics no help.
