What's new for 2017.
We are adding a Luftwaffe side for scoring purposes. Here is a screen shot of that page.

When you sign up, Flieger1 for example, will be changed to your game name. Points, awards and promotions will be linked to your character and if you do not survive a mission, all that will be lost and you will return for the next mission with a new Identity as a replacement pilot.
Players will make their own claims by filling out on an online logbook after each mission.
You can play without participating in this, but will only be scored if you sign up for a side and fly for that side for the 1st mission of the night.
Here is how it will work on Tuesday mission nights. We will run one official mission first and it will be single life. This is the one that counts for the character scoring system.
Once either that mission ends or everyone is down, or the mission inexplicably restarts in the middle of it (this sometimes happens) We will run it again for fun and side switching and re-ups will be allowed for the rest of the evening.
