Not sure if it's related to the other bug where I can't select downloaded skins but, I'm also unable to save the default skin by right clicking on it in the hanger. A folder for the skin is created but the folder is empty.
I wanted to try my hand at learning to skin a Dr1 but no luck so far trying to follow these instructions: http://www.hitechcreations.com/features/custom-skins (http://www.hitechcreations.com/features/custom-skins)

Currently the DX11 version of the game cannot save the default skin. You have to use the DX9 version of the game to do so. Not a bug, just a known limitation of the DX11 version

Oh okay, I don't have that version since it doesn't come with Oculus so I'd have to download the regular version of Aces High if I wanted to do anything with skins.
Thanks Skuzzy. :aok

Did we not include the "aceshigh9.exe" file with the Oculus version? That would be an error I need to get fixed.

no it's not present and I recently installed it via the oculus library directly onto my new machine.
But isn't that by design?

When the version of "skins.res" changes a new version must be installed. The game will remove the olde version prior to installing the new version.
