Aces High III Version 3.0 Patch 15 Released

The following is the list of changes for Patch 15.

1. Fixed a bug where external move sounds could not be customized per vehicle.
2. Updated the Bf110C-4b and Bf110G-2 shapes.
3. Changed the way icons rotate around the plane so they display the same distance from the plane.
4. Fixed a film viewer crash bug, on exit.
5. Planes which you do not have enough perk points, or do to ENY, are now displayed as yellow in the hangar.
6. Populate Mission Dialog now saves it's position between sessions.
7. Fixed a bug which could cause sector counters to display incorrectly.
8. Integrated our new web browsing system into the help system.

You are looking for the "Bug Forum". It's down the hallway, taking the last door to the left, going up the stairs and using the secret handshake at the next door to get around the security guard. Once inside, get in line, the rest should be clear. :)

okkkk so how do you change or select different external tank sounds?

It's an FMOD thing. Even though I had changed the track sounds to change with speed they would work, then break, then only the default track sounds would be heard. So there was no way to test the changes and in the game every tank track sounded like every other (m3 like a tiger, etc.). I must presume that when Hitech fixed the engines that it broke the tracks, so moving forward I may discover an issue with airplanes you just never know.

I suspect like me, Lunatic has no idea what FMOD is. It would be nice to be able to tell a tiger from a panzer as we could in AH2. The jeep seems to have a unique sound but to me all other GVs sound pretty much the same. Is this something that should now change by default?

No. FMOD is the new sound system in AH3. Unless Waffle makes changes to AH3 default sounds your sounds will remain the same until a custom sound pack is released.
