At the start of a new tour when new skins are added, can they bad shaded a new color for a month so we can pick them out of a long list?
Or all of them be shaded in an assortment of color from newest to oldest?

That would be nice, but as long as they publish the names of the new skins in the patch notes it would be fine with me.

Typically there is no patch, they just load automatic at the start of a new tour.

Updated skins would show up as new.
New skins are at the bottom of the list as they are sequentially numbered in order of release.

New skins are at the bottom of the list as they are sequentially numbered in order of release.
Each skin has it's own number in a plane's skin roster. "109G2_3" will stay skin 3 even after updating. New skins take the next available number and will appear on the bottom of the list on the skins download page but skins are always arraigned first numerically, then alphabetically, based on the skin name in the game's skin roster. Skin names beginning with "1" will always be near the top of a plane's skin list in game. So, a new skin will be placed on the list wherever the name fits in. For example, the 109G-2 I'm making now will be "109G2_22" but be seen in game as "4./Jg 52" and be placed 3rd from the top of the list.

Correct.
My point was that updated skins would show up as "new" under this wish unless updated skins are coded out of being highlighted.

let me clarify..
Please have skins marked that are downloaded monthly,
After that month, they will not be marked, and the next batch will.
Updates are fine too, as we will soon be past that.

Hitech could add a release date at the end of each skin's description tag from the drop down menu, and add a sort for (name or release date). If he can dynamically set ENY crippled rides to a gold text, this should be just as simple.
Unless it is something where Skuzzy would have to modify all of the skin RES files to add a "releasedate.txt" inside of them and we would have to re-download all of them to function correctly with the sort code.

I just realized that Lazer is right.
You gotta' highlight the skins because once they download they're blended in--and they are listed in order of GROUP number not skin ID number.
