A 500 lb. bomb was found in the National High School in Surigao City:

The story could have ended with a Darwin's Award candidate.  Lucky that the bomb didn't go off as they were taking it to the guy's garage.

I'm glad it worked out for now but like Ack said I'm surprised by the amount of stories I've read where someone finds a bomb and their first inclination is to move the thing.

All is good. The "bomb" self identifies as a trogledite exchange HS student and is asking for access to the girls restroom....
