Flying for the first time with the new dar shading, I found myself turning dar off to get a more clear view, then turning dar on/off to see which were down. It occurred to me that it would be useful to be able to toggle the map options (wind, dar, field elevations, etc.) on/off with a key or controller button (rather than use the mouse to open the menu and select/deselect the option). I'm suggestion one "master" toggle for all selected options, not a key for each one; though it would be nice to be able to select "constant" options and "toggled" options.
This would allow a player to have a very uncluttered map most of the time, but be able to quickly check additional information when needed.
