Instead of having multiple "QUIT" key presses to get all the way out, any way to have just a "EXIT GAME" in the tower menu?
-
ALT-F4
-
Two, the old quit and a "Quit to Desktop".
I've found working on terrains it's a time killer to hit multiple quit buttons.
-
We have quit buttons? :)
I always use Alt-F4.

Never in the field of Aces High has the term ALT + F4 been more appropriate.
-
So the terrain editor can make real time updates to a terrain currently open in the client?

Just because they want to put all that garbage in the way of productivity does not mean I have to adhere to it.

Would be nice it there are two exit options. 1) Exit to arena selection and 2) Exit to desktop.

Then why does Alt F4 generate a confirmation dialog box?. Lets go full up DOS and make exiting by key combination one stop shopping like it should be.

Because previously Alt+F4 was used to haze new and unaware players when asking help related questions. That's why there is a dialogue box.

Have you ever noticed there is a check box to never show it again?
Alt F4 is a windows standard to close windows.

A standard keyboard shortcut. Akin to buttons as GUI shortcuts. Pretty common to have both but since it's a productivity issue...

Skuzzy flies via CLI.

I am just messing with you guys a bit.
Just relabel the Quit buttons to something like "Thinking about quitting" then "Almost ready to quit" and finally "I'm done, dammit!" and all will be well.

Flying online since 1996. Familiar with the concept. Thought it was funny someone had to code the confirmation dialogue box in response. Anal sphincters online are why we can't have nice things.
