In Aces High II, i was able to have a small text buffer open on my screen to view current conversations. When I hit the ~key a much larger window would open to see many recent texts. Now in version III, I am not able to do that. I can expand the small text window to any size I want, and if i hit the ~ key it will  disappear, but I cannot get the small text window to remain. Am I missing a step in the setup somewhere? If you could help I would appreciate it. It would be nice to have a small text window open all the time, and a larger one when  I hit the ~ key.

Try removing the "filters.cfg" and "msgbar.cfg" files from the games "settings" folder.
