Fester, I think the idea is we all have to work together more to get the job done. There is a logical approach to bringing down HQ. We just haven't seen that level of cooperation since 1.08 came out.

believe me... once enough people with no talent find each other and work together... they will be able to milkrun allmost any field or radar into uslessness.

HiTech's new patch fixed what you are asking for.
- The main city's buildings once hit stay down for 3 hrs now no repair from trains.
- Only fuel and troops are rebuilt by re-supply drop efforts.
- all city buildings must be taken down before a capture can be made at a field.
Now bombers figure back into the strat plan!

We just haven't seen that level of cooperation since 1.08 came out.
knights have had SOOOO much team work it is great! i jsut got done with a 10 lanc raid on 54 today. that was fun. and with ripsnorts missions we can take at least 8 bases in a hour(we did that once)we have many squads on at same time witch helps with attacking in force.
rooks and bish... i cant say the same.. BUT one squady of p51s have hit rips missions now about 2 or 3 times.

tonight I upped a c47 w cargo after our hq was destroyed.
along the way I found two train depots. I dropped one crate on each and the entire depot rebuilt instantly.
I then dropped one crate at hq and it rebuilt instantly and the acks that respawned killed the b17 that was trying to chase me and gave me a c47 kill

the pinical of dweebery and loopholes in the strat system are the resupply drops on factories depots and hq.
it just does not make sense

think of it this way...
one c47 can repair an entire countries strategic targets (factories, hq, depots)
there is nothing conducive to teamwork about 1 c47 having this capability.
c47s should only be able to repair airfields and vehicle fields.
because the bases that c47s/m3s launch from must be supplied by depots/factories cities.
the food chain is currently all messed up

One C-47 should not be able to bring back up a full HQ destruction. MAW successfully ran a mission to drop HQ & it came back up in a few minutes after being destroyed. This is ridiculus. If this is the case, why have an HQ? It certainly isn't worth the time it takes to successfully destroy one if it comes back up in few minutes cuz of some lone c47.

well we should have more then 1 c47 hve to drop to repair. 2 or 3? and AF have every single cargo drop and not just one. GVs have 1 to get more ammo. depots and factorys 5 crates.

i agree with cit... scary
right now HQ raids are pointless :( they were always tons of fun to intercept but now no one does them anymore.
i have faith it'll all get fixed tho :)

I will say this thread does bring up an interesting point and ... as an outsider lookin in and getting ready to jump in ... I agree that miraculous resupplys are a bit of a dampner on realism.
