Hey everyone! I just found a copy of My Log Book by Gunther Rall, and I couldn't stop myself from buying it!! I'll let you all know how the book reads :cheers:

I find mine for $350, plus shipping. There was one on eBay yesterday that I missed the bidding war on and it sold for $206

I got books on this stuff all over my house. Literally hundreds of them stuffed in all the corners. For around 200 bucks I would have really considered buying a copy.

Well since I found out about the book I've wanted a copy for about the last five years. All the other one were easily $500-$700. Gunther Rall is easily on the list of my top 5 fighter pilots. So when I came across the book for sale I couldn't say no.
Edit: if I do ever consider sailing I'll definitely post here first for you guys :salute

AS much as I believe in sharing good fortune, I wouldn't let that book go! Pass it on down the family line!

Was doing some browsing and for those interested, I saw a copy for sale in Craigslist ad in San Diego for a little over $300.

You guys should get the original, it's much cheaper even as the autographed version: € 140 at Amazon (https://www.amazon.de/Mein-Flugbuch-Erinnerungen-1938-2004-handsigniert/dp/3980793540). Or, if you just want to read it, in Finnish it's € 30 as new, used starting from € 15...
