Terrible graphics, instant action.
Like a worse version of Battlefield Vietnam.

Hasn't been a good Vietnam shooter since Vietcong 1 and 2 more than a decade ago.

I thought Arma 3 had a Vietnam mod out that was pretty realistic as Arma usually is.
This looks good though. I've watched the gameplay, now time to wait.

booby traps, helicopters, napalm strikes, spookie gunship circling overhead, flamethrower action. these are some of the best things about this game.
It's in closed beta right now and don't know release date as of yet.

I loved Battlefield 1942 even offline, just the overall concept of the game was new and fresh. Battlefield Vietnam was a total misfire - too many bugs and even dumber AI than '42. I never had the intenet quality to play online worth a flip, strangely the problems of enemies that moved like Matrix agents and planes that could take never took damage no matter how many times I hit the target never really cropped up in AH.

I'm still playing the Rising Sun.

So after watching a bunch of videos and having a few bucks to spend I preordered this and got access to beta. Man this game can be immersive as hell. Not yout typical shooter as it is a little more realistic, you have to be a little more tactical in this one run and shoot is a good way to end up dead. Fighting in the tunnels of Hill 937 or the streets of Hue(especially round the citadel) can get really frantic.

A game that hasn't removed stealth?....Nice?

its there but you can still hear footfalls of people running or radio chatter if a radioman is near. In the after closed beta survey I took it asked if the American or Vietnamese footsteps were too loud as separate questions which tells me they have different sound effect for the two which is a nice touch as you can tell the difference between the two I didnt notice a difference as I was focusing two hard on actually seeing the enemy because camouflage is actually a thing and there are no icons above enemy heads..

This is the release I'm looking forward to:

No kidding! The M-16 is pretty fun to use as well. I believe the map Song Be had a wooden bridge connecting point Charlie to Delta. I was lurking around the Delta side of the bridge when two squads of NVA come barreling out of huts and a small slope. The M-60 gunner to my right, and I on the left held this bridge for proabaly ten minutes. I had my rifle on semi-auto and I almost ran out of ammo. We ended up having a bayonet fight before finally being relieved.
Great game, just hope they fix the blood, and the gun shot wounds.
