2017-02-17: Version 1.12
- Fixed a bug causing the application to crash during splattype correction.
It was related to the alignment of the stack and SSE instructions
- Fixed ugly DEM generation in areas where DEM data is missing.
The version is available as usual at: http://cppcms.com/files/makeahmap/ or in can be installed using via internal updater.

Good catch:
I fixed it, you can download the fixed grid from there: https://github.com/artyom-beilis/makeahmap/blob/master/images/grid_1024x1024px_256miles.tif (download button) and put it into your images directory replacing the wrong one.
I'll do an official release later

no problem, just wanted to make you aware of it. so far its saves me a ton of work. it also makes me as good as some of the other terrain guys with less know how.
in the AVA its about pumping out terrains, no necessarily making them too pretty.
appreciate all that you do for the game!

Awwww, just ask yourself, self, if I were water what would I do to this terrain over several hundreds of millions of years.
