And I´ve wished for the Bazooka Cub for years but Master have not answered yet..
If we were ever given a US observation/liaison plane, I doubt it would come with a bazooka package. It was purely a field mod done by some artillery observer pilots.

It would be quite useless in the game since the pintle guns on the gvs would have killed you long before you get a chance to fire the bazookas. But i still want it.

Maybe he wasn't that "mad". Looking at that photo of him his neck already looks swollen. He would have had symptoms long before becoming seriously ill in 1945. Perhaps he knew he was running out of time and just wanted his life to mean something. To make a difference before the end.

The idea of using slow flying aircrafts for ground attacks have been tested with surprisingly good results. "dont get low and slow unless you get really low and slow" is a good rule. The Po-2 is another good example.
The concept was also tried successfully in the late 60:s (http://www.kevlange.se/MFI_Biafra.JPG) top speed of ~90 mph but they managed to destroy a number of MiG-17 and IL-28:s with only one shot down by flak, The MiG-17 where way to fast so the pilots often fly right by them without spotting them.

I like the design. Wing placement is ingenious.

It is, you sits in front of the wings so it doesnt obstruct the view in the front arc at all plus that its placed in eye's level so that you can see both over and under it when looking backwards so the view is great. Glides like a brick though.

Wing does look a bit short and skinny for a light aircraft.

I flew a MFI that my neighbour hangar owned in Barkarby. It had a RR engine, and like mentioned, extrordinary view from cockpit.

Add bazooka Charlie`s cub and perk it high!
Storch vis range with teeth.
Landing hits would be hard to do without getting a pilot full of Pb from the pintle and co-ax guns.
