Still fairly new to the FSO's and see that there are points for certain objectives - are the results ever actually scored? I see the logs and summary sheet and understand that I can do the math myself, just seems like there might be enough interest from participants to have weekly scoring/results included someplace on the events page. May provide for more immersion and drive weekly planning efforts?

I think a time or two in the past weekly results were posted, however it is normally done monthly, as it is all done manually by the Admin CM.

Would there be a way to automate? Would be willing to help if able. Where are the monthly results?
Thanks!

An automated tally would have to account for non target destruction, friendly fire, gunner successful landing and deaths, successful landing at wrong field, AC min-max violations and etc. Although manual scoring must be a real pain, the CMs seem to have it down to a science.
Sometimes finding the time may be the harshest variable.
Not saying that some parts of the process couldn't be sped by automation. Not my area. :salute your willingness to help.

The scoring is really very simple. If I have a successful landing my sides wins that frame. So for this month Allies win frame 1 and Axis wins frames 2 & 3. Done. Now on to the next month. :aok

what you are saying is up your plane, fly around and land? and you automatically win the frame? No no I don't think that's how it works.

For the guys who don't look at points, if you had fun, you win.

points? I thought if you didn't die you win?
to the OP. a point system has been assigned to bombers, fighters, successful landings and targets(ie hangers, buildings). the side with the most points wins that frame. the side with the most over all wins, wins the FSO for the month.
if you don't like to lose, fly axis. they're much better at this then the Allies. :D

Points are assigned and never scored - at least not that I could find. Points (combat results) do not seem to affect mission planning from week to week. Would be neat if mission targeting etc would/could change based on results (points). Aircraft losses could effect ride availability for the next week. Would love to see a CIC AAR for each side - nothing big just an overall impression of how their plan played out. This is my line of thinking.
Why even have a multi-week event if results change nothing? (see that, using "results" instead of "points", a trigger word it appears). FSOs are a blast, was just looking to see if there was a little more depth to them.
Is there a place to see the historical results to compare axis vs allies wins - I couldn't find it?
