Title: More stutter or freeze stuff information
Post by: Randy1 on February 23, 2017, 05:49:05 AM
I hope this helps Skuzzy.   I was dive bombing the other night with a P-38L.  The stutter or freeze occurred exactly as I pulled the release button.  No bomb drop.  I did a clover leaf and dropped again with no problem.  I always thought the  brief freeze was just video but now It is clear it is a total game freeze.

You probably already know this but I thought I would share it with you just in case you did not.

I only experience the mini freezes when I use Dx11. I have not had any using Dx9. Give the Dx9 a try.
I'm sure they are working on a solution.

I had tried DX9 with a AMG card but it was subject to desktop crashes.  I changed to Nividia but have not tried dx9 since the change.  Thanks for the reminder Mano.  I will give it a go again.  :salute

Experiencing this too. Have a Frame Rate of 250+ and still getting screen freezes, even when no one is around...
Question: how do you switch to using DX9 vs DX11?

250?  Do you have Vsync on?

The default icon is DX9.  To switch to dx11 go to the High tech creations folder on your harddrive then look the aceshighdx11.exe.   Click on that

vSync is off.
My default is Dx11 when I start, it always has been (?)
Assuming there is a aceshighdx9.exe, in the same folder (?)
