That's not the forum, that's the post that you were last viewing. I have the same problem from Firefox when I browse the forums at work, but it doesn't happen on Firefox when I'm at home. I'm not sure what is technically happens, but I do know that you cant see the video in the post and Firefox tries to download it.

I need to know what thread that is coming from.  It probably is something in someone's signature causing it.

Anything with an embedded link, such as YouTube. Happening to me on Chrome.

It seems lots of people attach flash player animations/videos in their posts. Some browsers and corporate networks either block them or make you download them instead of playing them as embedded content in the post.

All those Youtube links.  I'll be glad when Flash is finally dead.

If you go into your account profile and look in the "Look and Layout" section of the profile, just check the option to "Show Youtube videos as a link" and that may take care of it.

That may fix the issue, but why is this the only forum it happens on to begin with? It only started a month or so ago.

It is not the forums fault.  The warning is happening due to browser settings.  If you are running Windows 10, an update may have reset your browser settings back to defaults.

It happens when your pc doesn't have an "open with" for a file type.

Firefox will instead prompt to download it so you can execute or view it later.
