I couldnt play the new AHIII with my old computer. In Dec, bought a new one with an OK graphics card turned down the detail and it was playable. However the numbers were so low in the arenas that it was just plain boring to fly around for 15 minutes looking for some action. Maybe time to cut the teams down from 3 to 2 to try and liven things up? Just a suggestion from a (now ex) player.

This has been discussed many times. 2 sides wont work well. It will always be one side rolling the other. After a quick search, here is another thread talking about it. It has good points that swing both ways.

Mr Slim.
Come try it again. Numbers are climbing. Battles are intensifying.
You've got your system, now get some value out of the investment. Many old sticks are returning. Be a part of the resurgence and growth of the game, help it become what it can sir.

It may be a time of day issue for slim and he can only play during off peak time.

Actually, I am on Central Standard Time. Would usually log in around 11pm, and the numbers would be over 100 (Remember the good old days when they would be over 200). Depending which map it was, I would stay or just say forget it, not worth the bother.
To be fair, it was the same way with the old version of the game as well in the last year or so. Some maps just were not worth logging onto due to the decrease in players playing.

I logged in last night around 9PM EST and it was 205 players in the MA.

isn't that the point, for one side to win.
Lock the sides, and have a request option to choose the side.

if you are logging in at 11pm alot of players are starting to log off- people do have to work-11pm central 12pm eastern- esp during week nights...that late you have go find a fight instead of one coming to you.sorry for the 4 letter word ^
prime time 7:00pm to 11pm is the best time. 2 country war will not work even at that time. switch sides if you want. 6 hours to switch back to your favorite country.
I am also central time-Texas

I would agree that some stuff needs to be changed in order to force a fight these days but a 2 sided war is not it.
Got to love the dickweeds, They came toward are HQ in 30K B17s and we got a chance to use the 163s again :rock
