I caught him sitting under a bridge that crosses a trench. Not the bridge in town. So yea he is one of a kind.

Cybro retreating into hangers.... :devil
-
He didn't always sit in the hangar.
Sometimes he would sit out where certain bish squads were spawning attacks,
(http://pandora.tzo.com/cybro.jpg)
Funny thing he was good at hiding because they never ever killed him.

:rofl

He's actually pretty decent in a fighter.
-
Cybro, the the 'Hangar Fire Guard'.
-
Cybro is just one of the crayons that put some color into this game. That color and the many other characters are what make this game. See that and you will always have fun.
-
that picture looks like he ditched gear up.
this could be a good technique for hiding. :salute
:airplane:
-
and he has 3 stars... (I dont..)
hes earned em the hard way
-
Cybro was the reason I used to drop on indestructable towards the end of AH2. I was easily batting .300 when i took swings at it haha
-
He's actually pretty decent in a fighter.
so you have actually fought him?

Human nature is hilarious to watch..... One guy just sits all day, moving the cv's occasionally, while everyone else does what they want to do and since the one guy won't follow the crowd, everyone loses their chit....
Cybro
rarely talks
rarely flies
rarely tanks
occasionally moves the CV (which pisses peeps off more than anything)
irrelevant to the game, irrelevant to my game play.
If he gives out cords to other players and a good battle ensues because of it, then Cheers mate, that's what everyone is always wanting.
Paranoia is an amazing thing....... but remember just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean someone really isn't watching.

Cybro embarrassed me before...
He was spawning a jeep then making me chase him in a plane. Shot me down a few times that day. He laughed. I laughed. Good times. Goooooooood tiiiiiiiiiiimes!
-
Rud3boi " Cybro is parked on the bridge right next to the field....I wonder if a plane will fit under it?" Rud3boi proceeds to drive jeep into bridge. "I bet this would make a great video with planes flying under bridge".
Lazer takes up a Storch and drops smoke rounds all around Rud3boi...
Rud3boi "seriously man??!! How am I going to film now??!!"
Lazer, Vulcan, Scoober, and myself play "what planes fit under the bridge".
Yak, f4f, i16...pretty much nothing else...
Enemy 190 shows up to pork field. Rud3boi "Do you think you guys should stop him?"
Vulcan "Nah...I wonder if he wants to fly under the bridge?"
All because Cybro was parked under the bridge....lol

I don't think it will fit. I only cleared in a f4f on my single perfect pass, if I was off even slightly I went poof. I'm sure a brew would make it though.

You can fly under bridges? I tried that and always auto boomed....maybe I cant fly.
Cybro doesnt bother me. I just wanted to have some humor....If he is a spy at least he is paying $15 a month to do it... not like pics of the map have ever been texted around before... spying is part of war.

Another thing to take note of Cybro is never found on the Bishops Roster, because he's a 2nd account for one of the Bishop squads.

I get a kick out of Cybro. I don't know what his deal is, but I choose to believe he's a pretty successful troll driving peoples' paranoia to new heights by simply logging in, upping in a hangar or likely location to farm prox kills, and then going to work/school/the bar.
Wiley.
-
Cybro is my spirit animal.
-
I get a kick out of Cybro. I don't know what his deal is
I know what the deal is. There's a few tankers who play bish who have an uncanny knack at finding other tanks. That screenshot I have has one of them trying to kill me, I was sitting still engine off behind trees. No planes around, he rocks up....peeks over a ridge and starts firing blind. Unfortunately he was off by about 20m to my left. But you get the idea...
So then I thought hmmm, screw this... I said over vox I was going to pay cybros P-40 a visit. So instead of driving from our spawn to theirs I had a right and head way out to where he parked up. On my film a certain tanker who is sitting in trees at their spawn immediately starts up and heads cybros way.
I guess it's their $$$ they can do what they like with it. I just think it's both sad and funny someone needs a crutch.
-
Can someone explain to me what this is about lol
-
Can someone explain to me what this is about lol
The squirrels have cameras, but cybro has a radio.... :devil
It's just a player who's actions, or typically lack-there-of, are suspect.
Pretty much, it's a player that doesn't play, but rather ups and goes AFK... The more paranoid of us believe it's an account solely for the purpose of spying on other countries to gain an advantage. :noid
-
Afk most of the time. Does not harm anyone.
-
I used to find him and chute out just out of proxy range and walk up with the pistol.
-
If anyone truely thought he was doing anything they could send in film. HiTech and crew can mine a lot of info from AH film that you can't seein game.
-
Afk most of the time. Does not harm anyone.
How can you say that?
Whoever it is on Bish (I have my suspicions) is using that intel to further our supreme overlords (The Bish) objectives in attack and defence.
Vulcan's little snippet is a good example but things like;
M3s resup waiting at bases before you have even laid the damage down.
CV's in remote places being bee lined over and over. Or just CV locations in general.
GV spotting.
You could argue 2nd accounts have been around for ages and all teams do it, which may be the case, but for some it takes the fun and skill out of reading the map, eradicates fog of war and isn't a level playing field for the newer guys who don't have a clue what is going on.
-
Another thing to take note of Cybro is never found on the Bishops Roster, because he's a 2nd account for one of the Bishop squads.
I would call BS on this.
You could find him in mid war the only person in there making Bish bases flash.
He would park on a CV then let the CV just pass back and forth through Bish radar ring.
He is an equal opportunity grief-er that I have had the joy of killing many times while flashing Bish bases.

Cybro is Skuzzy's shade! That explains why he is always in obscure locations for apparently no reason. Skuzzy ups his shade, a short while latter he passes out thus leaving Cybro in weird spots. Mystery solved!!

Not that i'm expecting a response but if you in fact know it is not a 2nd account exactly what is it? Seems to me the community has a much better hold on who cybro is vs the head office. Out of observation alone in the past i can say at the very least the account is shifty. Of course the player does a little bit here and there. Makes it all legit right? When in fact 80% of what the player does is observe from a discrete location on the map.
Explain to me why in 2014 when the 49ers were grieving HQ's cybro would come on vox channel and park in his hideouts. Able 2 gather all types of intel. 20 minutes later a 2-4 hour mission is blown by a bish player who miraculously finds the mission deep behind enemy lines en-route to hq? This is an extreme example but one none the less. Have personally observed dozens of situations where i had to call into question the intentions of the player. Not out of paranoia as skuzzy mentioned but in fair competition.
Now ill vouch for Cybro in that this feature he uses does not get abused and the old days of cybro shading have fallen off a cliff seems like.
But come on skuzzy.... You mean yall have actually observed this player for extended periods of time. Especially after business hours? Exhausted every available resource to maintain the integrity of the game? Know beyond a shadow of a doubt this not a player with 2 accounts?
Are you saying Cybro is the primary account then? Leaving speculation that the "2nd account reveals the true identity?"
I dunno I guess Skuzzy's response feels like a spit in the face.

God forbid the mission actually results in combat.

Some missions actually do require no combat and a complete element of surprise due to the amount of time invested. If it takes hours of driving and all it takes to stop the mission is a bomb**** in lancs and 15 minutes you bet your bellybutton im avoiding combat. Especially if it means achieving the objective and altering the momentum of the enemy targeted.

This is a combat game, bub. No mission "requires" avoiding combat. Your timid idea of gameplay is what hurts this game far more than any spy ever could.

There you go! Cybro couldn't possibly be of Arabian Knight ethnicity since our tribe migrates to Bishlandia at least four times a year.
Reissue that Interpol warrant.
At this time we will only concede that he bears a striking physical resemblance to AKKillz and that we also accept Canadian and British immigrants.

I agree this is a combat game and the majority of what you do in-game is engage in combat.
But come on man how can you be so naive lol :rofl
So resupplying in m3's/goons is timid play?
Running troops is timid play. Driving an hour in a tank to drop the dar for a planned mission is timid?
Driving 6 hours to an Hq to buy your side an an hour of complete surprise is timid?
Dude quit trolling the thread and trying to derail the main discussion.
The MA is setup for direct & in-direct combat.
If all you do is engage in air fights how will you win da warz? I dont see you taking 2 hours to strike nme strats deep behind enemy lines.... Nor making it back if you do just by the way you talk.
-

obviously not a fan of nascar base takes? Or the m3 that drives 100 miles to sneak a base that cripples an entire front.
I guess you never take the time to track a set of buffs inbound to your strats from base to base in 88's trying to pluck a bird or two out of the sky to minimize the damage?
I prefer direct combat when i play but every once in a while an opportunity presents itself where i have to go dark.
And you know what? It works extremely well
-
The more paranoid of us believe it's an account solely for the purpose of spying on other countries to gain an advantage. :noid
The theory among many players is that he's either a Bishop or Rookie spy, however, I have lost count of the many, many times I have received PMs from both Bishop and Rookie players asking me his location so they can bomb him for spying on their respective countries.
He's just a strange bird, one that I think kind of adds a little color to the game. When the midwar arena was still around I noticed that there was a lone player in the arena rather late into the night so I went in the arena maybe hoping to get some 1v1 flights. I found cybro in a GV sitting on the edge of a Bishop base's 'dar ring just to make the base flash. I went to the main arena for a few hours and before I logged out of the game, jumped in the MW arena and there was cybro still sitting in a GV making a Bishop base flash.
He's not a spy, just a strange cat having some fun in his own peculiar way.

In lieu of taking a Goon do do those same tasks, yes choosing the M3 is indeed timid.
And I'm not trolling. I am pointing out your hypocrisy of claiming that Cybro's behavior (if he is even actually spying) is somehow detrimental to the game because your combat avoiding mission was busted.

Never said it was detrimental to the game. Only asked skuzzy if the head office has exhausted all available resources on the matter to ensure the integrity of the game.
You seem like the kind of player who never evolved beyond direct combat in the game. Sad as it warps the perception into thinking a player like myself spends $15 a month to avoid combat haha. Love it!!!
The good ol days of complete strategic play died with AH2. The new version requires more direct combat than ever before. Your fighting a loosing battle the more you express your opinion on this subject.
Cybro was a problem. Something happened in the last 2 years that has forced cybro to change its ways. Period! Cybro did not develop this reputation out of shear paranoia as has been suggested.
ACK nails it on the head in his comment. Whoever decides to play like cybro or who goes as far as shades it creates a totally new element that one must account for. You know what I did about it? I didnt complain to HTC i just changed my style and went dark. Works like a charm most of the time.
All I am here to do is make sure the facts about this player are accurate and counter any argument that cybro is just like me. A regular paying customer who instead of logging out decides to just park it somewhere until the player is ready to play again.
Devil you ever take a base outside of a group or horde? Do you ever go on long strat runs in bombers? Do you ever take 30 minutes to an hour out of your day to resupply a vital target so that the enemey doesnt aquire it and run rampant on the front?
You dont even know who I am in-game. How can you assume im the kind of player who avoids combat based off of an example i gave where I called Cybros game play into question?
Years of furballing and fighters sweeps tend to dull the mind into thinking there is nothing more to this game than that and FSO. Thank the good lord thats not all this game has to offer.

Look, half the time a mission gets busted, its due to poor planing and/or to obvious choices. I've seen missions busted many times and every single time the mission was given up by features that are placed into the game. Not from some spy.

I dunno I guess Skuzzy's response feels like a spit in the face.

I would go as far as to say the majority of missions not just half fail due to lack of planning and prep.
And listen im not here screaming Cybro is a cheating shade all the time. What im saying is Cybro didbt get this reputation from sitting in hangers or behind enemy tank spawns alone. Things in the past happened. All we who have witnessed it ever get is a response like skuzzy's. The same old nothing to see here move on response.
Out off 100 base takes i bust half the time. Maybe get shaded a handful of times out of that 100. Majority of those situations i come out on top.
This isnt a cybro is a shade thread its who is cybro.
Im putting in my 2 cents on the subject based off of what i have observed. Im suppose to think that because cybro never speaks and pulls off this silly stuff that it is normal and nothing to it.

Ok 49er, you are hear screaming Cybro is a cheating shade. The only reason Cybro gets blamed for shading is because its the easiest excuse for why a mission was busted. Skuzzy or HTC doesn't have to provide information to wether Cybro is a shade or not. Cybro has not done anything other than boggle people minds into paranoia.
-
I'm Cybro.

before i go any further im not trying to start a flame war with admins or disrespect.
To imply that the cybro fiasco is rooted in paranoia with no hard evidence to suggest otherwise again is a spit in the face.
It is what it is. This morning I put in my 2 cents on who i think cybro is as a player. Never see cybro in missions. Never see cybro on strats runs. Rarely see cybro in air battles yet has pretty good skill. After years and years of no vox or range coms. The voice always gives a player away :)
No one in the history of AH has been more emo than cybro. The game encourages and at times demands interaction yet cybro has remained silent. Is this because cybro is def or has no mic? Or does it conceal the true identity like a mask?
-

not a 49er and I have witnessed a lot more than your suggesting cybro does. I have also said in this thread that cybro has backed off from his old antics that lead me to believe he is a shade. It used to be so in your face its not funny.
40 whinners were cybro griefed during the Hq wars of 2014-2015. Period. I witnessed it. Sometimes it crossed the line most the time it didnt.
I have taken time today to counter you very argument! I completely disagree that cybro is what you say. Im not screaming hes a shade cheat. I am giving you examples of where i call him into question. Once again seems like cybro has backed off. Who cybro is today should not become canon for who cybro is in general.
Cybro is not the tree loving fairy you suggest. Im just making sure this thread doesnt get derailed by opinions like yours :salute
If i could go back in time with the power to ban to cybro i wouldnt. I love that cybro is cybro but lets keep it real and honest. Ive been shaded more by other players but I never complain about it. I just state the facts and adjust my play to counter that element. These drive by flame posts dont work folks. Facts are facts. Whether one agrees with them are irrevelant. Cybro is here to stay and im glad about that. Dude made it through and is legend today. But come on... So someone like me should forget and throw it under the rug.... Pshh

No one to date has been able to provide anything to HTC that cybro is spying/griefing other than paranoid speculation. cybro got his reputation because players like you blame others for missions/sorties that get busted by other means. It is easier to blame something else than to blame the real cause.
-

You sure your not a 49er? That's surprising. You should look them up, you would be a good fit. I've witnessed cybro do a couple things that people have claimed he doesn't do in this thread. Either way, if Cybro is someones shade or not, he isn't hurting the game.

Agreed it doesnt hurt the game.
These drive by posts are insane. Follow the conversation and read what I have said.
Some of you are basically taking one statemnt and generalizing what im saying in whole when im just responding to someone else's comment lol. The level of intelligence is dropping by the minute.

LOL cybro gained his reputation off of players like myself? Here we go....
one more thing id like to add. When i log in i dont record every sortie. Im not looking to keep a record of every sortie and analyse it. Im not looking to store a bunch of data in the hopes that i catch someone in the act. In fact everytime i plan something a major factor is the shade element that i take into account and I love that! I have never complaied about shades busting a mission to HTC or bbs. This is the first time i have spoken on the subject. I have known players 10 times worse than cybro over the years. Some that still play. These players have told me their secrets thinking i could be trusted knowing the shade. The stories ive heard are disgusting at times. Never hear me complain about them do ypu? LoL i mean tue level of absurdity right now is epic.
Who is cybro is the name of this thread. I have expressed my opinion on who cybro was in the past and who cybro is today. Something changed I havent witnessed shady play on cybros part in at least a year. So dont come here and put words inkmy mouth and call me a 40whinner when Im just here to keep things real and honest. Dont make me out to be the paranoid looser who blames their own mistakes on cheaters. We all know who some of those players are :x
And dont come on here saying things that makes cybro out to be something he is not. I gave a great example of where cybro was shady all be it happened years ago.
Keep it real folks. Facts facts facts!

It's just Midway making sure we are all talking about him

Err I have film of cybro sitting behind a bish spawn, while bish tanks magically figure out where I am/and rush to his defense when I take my tank out to see cybro (I was going to smoke him, announced so on vox). Periodically there were a couple of bish aircraft flying over him, they never touched him once.
We all know what he does, I'm over it. But trying to say he doesn't do it... nah...

If Cybro was a spy/shade aiding the bishops, I don't think I'd have been main-gunning his knight pony this afternoon. I got him twice with my T34, trying strafe or rocket my treads. I, for one, think he's just a subscriber with odd habits.

It's a social experiment :)

Parked hostile planes on the ground can be extremely difficult to spot.
In fact I used this a few times when hunting goons in huge battles with many reds around. I would just land, for example, in a valley between the two bases and wait till the enemy goon comes along.
-
I even dropped a ton of smoke on cybro to help the bish see him... but... to no avail.

As a bish I would probably just have seen the smoke, but nothing else there at a glance. Would I have thought you marked one of your own team mate for us, the enemy? Probably not, and there are reds around wich I can already see and which are possibly posing a threat to me.

No, the one with the smoke there are zero nit aircraft in the vicinity. Only nit gvs, and so all those bish aircraft are looking for GVs.
Next lame excuse?
I'd also point out the AFK excuse is a crock as well, often if he is bombed/killed he will immediately respawn and taxi into a hangar.

Skuzzy opened up a serious can of worms with that comment :rofl :rofl :rofl

Well... there were denials from a certain person about a certain player not being another certain recently that were later proven when a certain player streaming his live gameplayer stated he was also that other certain player. Certainly very interesting :devil

I have also said in this thread that cybro has backed off from his old antics that lead me to believe he is a shade.
It used to be so in your face its not funny.
Real simple reason for this it is called AHIII.
There is no coincidence that most inoperable hangars have this one feature going for them now?

My first time seeing him was long ago in MW i had not been in there for a long time so i stopped in to see all the other knights we flew with for years and a base was flashing in the middle of know where i ask if anyone noticed that and they said yeah thats cybro he is new to the game and all he does is park jeeps in barns and flash bases for 8 and 12 hours at a time and you cant find him unless you go check every barn and we got tired of that after a few weeks and we ignore him because he dont do anything anyways so i upped a plane at the base just to get a short film to find him i killed him and he just kept moving around the map to other bases i kept filming to find him each time and kill him i did that for about 3 hours logged off and never killed him again as AKAK said he is just a bit strange the way he plays but he is not a spy.

We will NEVER act on paranoia and/or innuendo. Never. We said there was nothing to prove the claims. When we finally got proof, we acted. End of story.
Nothing in this thread has proven anything, other than there are a number of players being very paranoid.
-
And there are a lot of paranoia in the game. Its enough to switch sides every now and then.

Hate to wreck the paranoia here, but Cybro is not a second account.
That helps validate the sneaking suspicion I've always had that cybro = snailman.
Cybro appeared roughly about the same time snailman faded from the scene; cybro is more than competent in whatever plane he ups on the rare occasion he chooses to up one; his CV position decisions are well reasoned, tactically speaking; he doesn't fly bish; and his hangar-sitting could be instructive in some sort of abstruse data-gathering sense.
I've further reasons for my suspicions, but those can suffice for now.
So! The gauntlet has been thrown! Lusche, are you cybro? I don't figure you for a liar: so a denial will be good enough for me, if you are indeed not he.
Silence, of course, will convict you utterly. :neener:

I have personally never seen a slime trail leading into a hanger :bolt:

This is no longer productive.
Like the rules say, if you have a problem with a player, then you have a course of action to take, and the forums are not one of them.
