Cav, just post on the FSO forum that you want to participate and you will have some one pick you up. This will satisfy the rule concerning "no walk on's".
Definitly join sir, best part of the game.

Plenty of squads looking to fill slots...doesn't even have to be your MA squad. Just hit up the squadron forum and get in there...makes for a fun Friday night.

As junkyII said. You DO NOT have to leave your main arena squad to join a squad in the SEA they are separate.

You are welcome here in FSO. Show up and we'll get you an invite somewhere Sir. :aok

Nothin' wrong with chess piece loyalty but I find FSO a good opportunity to fly with folks I normally fly against. They are surprisingly human at times! :salute

Cav,
You'd be welcome to wing with G3-MF in FSO ... but in all fairness, I feel the need to warn you that we are kinda 'anal' about doing things correctly. We care a lot more about doing what we are supposed to be doing, than getting a kill count.
That said, let me (or Slipknot, or JDOG) know if you'd like to link up.
This (Flying with different units in FSO) is also a great opportunity to get a feel for whether or not you like the style of a given squad.
Cheers,

Also CAV, just as a side note. Depending on which side you fly in FSO, (Allied or Axis) will depend on which country. Every month, squads request which side they want to fly. You should definately give it a try
