Bloody thing is a monster. In the hands of an experienced tanker, this thing would wreck any armored opposition and just plow through front lines until someone flanked it to penetrate the weaker sides (if they survived flanking it).
Seriously. Thing is a beast on roids with rage issues.
+1
:p
-
Welll, you know, someone sank their battle ship, so this was the answer to all that left over steel plate in the ship yard.
-
Hulk smash!
-
Penetrating 175mm armor w 30 degree slope at 3000 meters, 200mm at 2.000 meters... Nothing except a King Tiger would have even a slightest chance to survive a hit. The 80mm armor on the side would however be vulnerable to most of the LW-tanks.
-
Plus it's really Retro sporting the camo paint and whitewalls
-
+1 just because it looks so cool.
-
The armor thickness on display in the panel joints is awesome.
-
Only if they paint it white (in reference to the White Tiger movie thread )
-
The engine hatch is it's Achilles tendon along with it's maneuverability.
-
TigerII and jagdpanther are kinda hanger queens---Jagdtiger will end up king of the hanger queens
-
It will end up as a hanger queen - because it will have a big perk cost, and the only thing that will happen is that someone will have to fly over with a big bomb and kill it.
-
Well, concrete king, or hanger queen. :P
-
I'd like to see the Nashorn added though. I think it would be a pretty fun vehicle.

I think it will be a hanger queen because it needs its engine running get gun on target. GVers dont use their engines in this game, its off so you can hear the enemy. Its best use would be when you have an extremely long shot at an approach and wont have to turn yourself at all, but we dont see that very often with all the trees.

Ugh. Another monster. Cept instead of a roid rage monster on tracks, its a fast-firing Porsche designed marvel wrapped up in a psychopathic 88mm fast-firing steel-welded terminator with a typical 10:1 kill ratio (on average). Mostly Tuesdays.
Bring it on. :x

Do we really need another heavy Axis tank at this point in the game?
When the allied heavies are truly lacking.
-
StuG III should be No 1 in line among German tanks to be added, it was the most numerous armored fighting vehicle the Germans had.

Fork goto The Canadian Brewhouse, you are not yourself when you're hungry.... :devil

there really are not maps or many areas that are conducive to 2k+ shots. I think that is a major reason for jadgpanther, king tiger being hanger queens. the maps have so many trees i find 1-2k shots are rare. my rounds hit a tree well before it hits a gv. and because of that the t85 is the most popular tank. Its fast, has green camo (really wish the german GVs had greener camo schemes), and effective combat ranges with all the trees in our maps make all GVs in game extremely vulnerable to its gun (1.5k or less).

-1 we already have the jagdpanther and the TigerII-and tigerI- panther and 2 panzers and 2 or 3 other turtles, T34-76 and the T34-85 we don't need any more German tanks.

I don't know what's funnier, the graffiti or the misspelling of "graffiti".

I disagree.
I've seen things changing in gameplay on both Rook and enemies side. I have seen lot more people taking perk tanks on the offensive. Even for myself, taking a Tiger 2 to an enemy base gets the enemy off guard. I lot my Tiger 2 to a manned gunned but I don't sweat it. GS always takes JagPanther on the offensive.
Calling something hanger queens is irrelevant and who cares if someone does it to an extent of whatever they choose to do with it. I mean really.
I've killed many perk tanks somewhere within in the V base trying to defend. With the right strategy you still kill them on base if that's what the enemy chooses to defend it.
Only time I've tanks that spawn out and stay, get hit and end flight, are those small single V bases that are indestructible with no radar and two auto guns. And why is that? Think about the terrain around those single VH bases. The terrain is on a slope downward towards the V base, so when someone spawns out to defend and don't move, they have great visibility almost 360 to kill someone at a distance. That's in what? one map that has it?
I vote this tank in.
Also, I am in for more Allied amor.

Individual actions are one thing, but the stats show the Jagdpanzers have almost disappeared from the AH3 battlefield.
-
W a bit of patience a JPanther can be successful in AH3, there are plenty of spots where you can hide and snipe. But it was easier in AH2 when main coverage was berms and bushes. But a well hidden JPanther can be a pain in the A** in AH 3..
-
I don't see as many of the turtle family of tanks in AH3 as you saw towards the end of AH2. Players used them for field assaults and defense along with them being a goto ride at the tank crater on CraterMA. In the center of BowlMA, I duplicated as much of the tank crater concept as I could, and the vast majority of tanks I've ever seen there are turreted types. I guess the faster to capture feilds in BowlMA and the GV spawns following the capture front, keep the Gvers entertained just as much as having a dedicated tank furball arena. I thought all of those farm villages around each town would be ideal for using the turtle tanks in their ambushing role off the spawns. GV combat in AH3 seems to be a bit more like mounting guns on lazyboys than it was in AH2.... :lol
-
I haven't changed my GV ride from AH2 to AH3, it's still the T34/85. IMO its the best all around tank available in the arena.
1. It's one of the fastest...
2. Good for short range and long range
3. Good ammo, HE, AP and HVAP (wish it had smoke)
4. Sloped armor
I have a lot of shots over 2k, and it does well.

Even if they are, so what? I am sure Jagpanzers have company like G4M1, JU87 G-2, 109 E-4, P39D, LVT non-troop version, SDKFz 251, etc...
Now we are getting into the problem with having just a main arena and not broken up like we used to like the mid-war, early war, right? To have that we go to have have the numbers.
Why take a B25C when you can take a B29. Right? Unless you want to pad your stats and earn perks. Maybe some people get great satisfaction from egging from a B25 on a town. So what.
Hey, maybe down the future it will be back.
Variety its best. Its your choice. :airplane:
Let the tank in and others and planes like the A26 Invader. :joystick:
It seems silly people are arguing about tanks/planes in like theres going to be a tax hike to pay for it. :rofl Lets pass a $400 million military spending eh.
