So I just got a new x-56, my X-52 was finally giving up the ghost,so to speak. I went ahead and ordered the 56. Now come to the mapping and all that. Plug and play is not an option with this one obviously. My question is while doing my mapping can I do it in the offline arena and the settings stay for the online area. I am on a Satellite system and don't want to use up my data just mapping a controller. And does anyone have a profile that is downloadable for this stick. The good thing is after a three year break, I am back.

I'm running a X55 Rhino, and yes you can set it up offline, with the settings being used by the Online as well.

Did you find a profile or did you use your own?

profiles are very personal. what i find important to have on my stick you may not. use the game software to program it, not the Saitek software. you will most likely be switching button settings on the fly for the next week or two to get it dialed in the way you like it.
welcome back!

I would just be happy to get it up and running. I am fighting to just get it to save.

It is not saving, it usually means some anti-xxxx software is interfering with the game or you installed the game into the "Program Files" or "Program Files (x96)" folder.
