Title: capturing uncapturable bases
Post by: molybdenum on March 26, 2017, 03:45:58 PM
How is this possible? A47 in SFMA map just got taken--which happened last time bish had that side of the map also. Wth? Is this a bug or is there some arcane way in which a normally uncapturable base can indeed be captured? Inquiring minds want to know!

when the rooks took A52 A47 for some reason became capturable (this was said to be fixed but clearly we need more work on it) also 46 (another uncapturable) became capturable when taking 47.

some needs to fix that because 46 just fell as well and conceivably the bish could be wiped out.

When the last Rook has been vulched
And the last Bish base has been taken
Only then Knights will discover
That you can't eat your score

When we took 52 ,46 became captureable so we took it.  We were just as in shock as you were. And when we got the vbase next to it , it became uncaptureable again , but in the hands of the rooks not bish. So we had an uncaptureable field next to your city and hq... We enjoyed it ... But yes this needs to be addressed haha

if this is happening then you need to post it in the bug forums-- which is where I think this post will end up.

and another question might be pertinent to ask is how and when and who told them they could attack it and win it.

if a country or a squad knew about it and didn't report it could be considered cheating. :bolt:

When the base to the north was taken, the red (stop circle) disappeared. Making it look like any orher regular field. When it was taken the red circle/bar cam back.

Rhe field to the north was the ket to it happening.

The base no longer had the symbol over it. Chances are they just decided to roll to the next one.
