Post by: pipz on April 06, 2017, 05:20:59 PM
Bought it on a whim. Plugged it in once thought hey this is neat and never used it again. Its basicly brand new. Got the box still. 150 + shipping.

Button 0 on my X-55 throttle has decided to die.  The unit is barely 6 months old.

Google X-55 throttle wire breaks, it's a bit disheartening.

Me with a soldering iron is how disasters happen... space craft fall out of orbit, airliners burst into flames, ships run into icebergs etc.

I've seen pics of the wires that would need to be redone.  I agree with this assessment.

I'm going to put some heavy gauge wire in there and solder.  All good info.  I love the stick.

Slipknot, go buy some GOOD ribbon cable and use that, heavier gauge is not the answer. Good "military grade" ribbon cable is great for that.
