Title: Current WEP settings
Post by: Lusche on April 11, 2017, 03:43:33 AM
For reference, here are the current settings for all WEB capable planes:

As usual, don't hesitate to point out any errors  :old:

That's a handy chart.   :aok

Kind of strange how the C.205 has a longer cooldown than the 202.  Most of the variants of each model seem to be identical, or improve with newer versions.
Like the 110C and 109E getting much better with their respective updated versions.  And the Macchis use engines that are very similar to the 109s.
What changed in the 205 that gives it a much longer cooldown than the 202? :noid

The 202 has the same engine as 109E while the 205 has a DB 605 similar to the early 109G (or rather identical) so the difference in Wep-times are hard to explain.

I couldn't find any images / specifications with a quick Google search, but do you know how big the water / methanol tank was in the C.205? I don't have any offline books about that type. It appears HTC are now modelling total WEP time accordingly for those types which derived their WEP from a consumable additive injection.

I recently constructed an argument about the Ki-84 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,386565.0.html). Perhaps you have a similar case to construct?

It's more of an assumption than a case or argument.
