If any of you used to play City of Heroes quite a bit, then you will likely know about it's spiritual successor, City of Titans.

But just in case you were not aware, there you go. :D
Things I'm hoping for:
Power proliferation doesn't happen: When City of Heroes finished introducing power proliferation, it practically ended the use of the Defender class.
Architect AE, or a version of it: No. Not only no but, OH HELL NO. People created missions that allowed for power leveling in the extreme. Before, I would constantly see folks making calls for all Task Force/Strike Force. After, only respect TF/SF calls were made.
Epic Archetype Unlocking: When I first played City of Heroes, you had to get hero and villain to lv 50 in order to unlock their respective epic's. I sure hope they stick to that setup, instead of allowing a person to get a character to just lv 20.
:aok

I still lament City of Heroes. It was the only mmorpg I ever really enjoyed. Cant understand why they closed it.

If I were to guess, a lot of long time players quit after the fiasco's they put out: AE Architect, Power Proliferation. Going Rouge and lowering the requirement to obtain the epic archetypes didn't help either. A LOT of villain types went over to Hero, which made the villain side of things practically dead. When they went to a F2P/Micro-transaction style, that was the final nail in the coffin.

A bit of nostalgia for some of us. :(

While it's a couple of months old, it is the most recent video that MWM posted on their YT channel. I honestly had flashbacks to City of Heroes when they were play-testing the build. :D
I watched a few of them, and feel confident about City of Titans. Rumors are 2018 for an Alpha at least. All we can do is sit back and wait. But it has to be daunting, to say the least. Not only in the creation, but also in the fact that CoT will have to square off against the legend CoH created. I'm certain there will be a few that will gripe that it isn't CoH, but that's the thing. They want CoT be a spiritual successor, but also it's own game as well. This is going to be tricky for them to pull off.
