HiTech,
I dont know how the videos recording in game are storing data, however it would be an excellent option to have a way to import the vid into the mission editor.
For features like views, inputs, and other things.
This would have to be recorded offline and by yourself in an arena, however it would make things so much simpler when it comes to
communications and text events etc.
You could basically strip the instructions off of your flight and import them into the flight data through the ME.
just a thought there.
Example:
Start Flight on Runway,
Use mouselook to record cockpit
send text message etc.
check runway etc.
send text
take off
send text
bank to heading
send text
this is kind of what we talked about on the recording of events for training purposes.

You lost me what data you wish to put into the mission editor?

mainly the flight data, to mimic a recorded sortie, also the text buffer messages.
sort of like this scenario.
LEAD, "lets do an immelman"
LEAD then pulls nose up to do an immil.
you could pre record the flight for kind of a basic training scenario like we talked about on the phone.

the flight data would be recorded in ah film offline of course and then imported into the ME.

Not really possible do to how the mission system directs AI.
