Facebook of late really has quite a lot of information on all sorts of subjects. In the translated link below are high quality PDF scans of the KI-61 engine parts lists and service manuals. Some have performance charts and exploded views of engine parts.

Unless the Japanese translation of the German manual has a lot of pictures in it, I don't think it will qualify me to do any work on that engine....
