ASUS 31.5", 2560x1440 IPS panel for under $350.00. Seems too good to be true to me.

Hmmm. I guess it was not a good deal. Seems cheap to me, for an IPS panel, at that resolution and size.

I was going to say thanks for sharing yesterday, then I forgot. :D
Unfortunately I won't have the money for that for a while. :(

bought a monitor a couple months ago, and dont live in US
looks like what I was after and could not afford..

it sure is cheap I payed my 27' ips twice that price, althougt mine is suited for gamong I doubt that one is

The claimed 5ms response time is right in the neighborhood for a gaming monitor.
I am going to have to get one just to see if it really is all it claims to be.

I'd expect to have massive blurring on moving objects. My acer xb270hu is already borderline in fighting games and is gaming oriented. You'll tell us!
I couldn't find a single review of this monitor and I find this a little weird!

I had to Google it to find the reviews. Seems like a lot of hit and miss as usual with online reviews, some blurring, and apparently a good chunk of fine-tuning the settings to get it just right

I agree. It is odd and makes me suspect, but we have one ASUS IPS panel in the lab now and it works well and has quite beautiful color rendition and contrast, which is the hallmark of IPS. It also has little blurring at all, which is not the strength of IPS panels.
