Title: Bf 109G-6 "Eagle Eyes" 9./Jg 3

Bf 109G-6 flown by Alfred Surau of Jg 3's 9th Staffel in September 1943. Surau made his mark in Jg 3 as one of the geschwader's most successful pilots that year, scoring his first victory on February 28th against the Soviets. In the summer of '43, 9th Staffel was transferred, along with the remainder of III Gruppe, to Germany to aid in the defense against American bomber raids. On October 14th 1943, Surau scored his 46th, and final, victory; but was also mortally wounded by the defensive guns of a B-17.

Oh Jeez, what an awesome job and scheme!  And we;re in JG-3 for the upcoming scenario.  It would be great to have that skin available!

You have evolved your rivets, panel lines and small 3D illusions of shape with your 109 skinning. It has been a pleasure to watch you develop your skill over the years.
