Can you make films with AH film viewer and post them on youtube? Or do you have to get some kind of program to do that?

The viewer will produce avi clips. File size might be an issue.

You can also get something like OBS to record your full screen play back on film viewer. It can create an .mp4 which you can then upload to youtube.
It also has the capability to stream but the quality will be lower for streamed video, especially depending on your connection.
You can google OBS it's fairly easy to use.

IS a bug fixed for the next patch.
Open the editor, then select open the film from the editor.

If you deleted it, that would break the next patch.
Modified for me being stupid.
I didn't see the prievious post about OBS. I thought you were speaking of the ah film viewer.

OBS isn't a converter, it makes it's own video files. The file size and quality depends on how you've set it up.
You can do screen capture with it that would work for you. I remember re-doing one of my FSO films that way when I'd forgotten to start recording video in OBS but recorded in ahfilm. I ran the film in the viewer in full screen, recorded that with OBS. Had to use the hat switch to get views as I run TIR. But that way will work. OBS will create an mp4 video of the screen capture.

So what they are saying is film your fights in the game with the AH film (alt R). Later setup your film using the Link Kanth posted above to get thru the film viewer process. Play back your finished film in full screen mode using OBS to capture the film. Save the OBS out put (mp3-4) and upload that to Youtube.
Piece of cake! :aok
