For a platoon Sgt. of mine That shared mine and his last dustoff ride.
I went home with million dollar wounds, but he ended up in Arlington.
Guys like him are what memorial day is about.    :salute Sarge :salute

Salute to the fallen.

Remember, Memorial Day is to remember those who did not come home.  Veterans Day is to thank those who did.
