Title: Game inputs appear to have gone whacky after Windows Update
Post by: dallash on June 17, 2017, 08:04:28 AM
I rebooted my PC after the creator's update (Windows 10 Enterprise), and for the first time ever that I can recall, my inputs were all reset. I first noticed that i could not fire my primary gun with my left mouse button. Then when I hopped in my bombers, my x52 throttle would not work. I reset it to default and I could rev my engines up and take off, but I had to re-map my buttons on my stick (I use it for zoom and calibration while bombing). As soon as I made those modifications, my throttle stopped working again. I see the numbers go up and down while moving it in "map controllers", but I cannot select it and make it rev my engines without choosing "defaults" or whatever, which wipes out my custom button mappings.

Odd...

Try reinstalling the Saitek software. Check the power settings on the USB devices, you want any power saving options off.

That.

Check every setting you have modified in Windows for improved gameplay. Most likely the update has reset everything. Check the power management settings in the Device Manager (USB and networking being the most important ones) and set the power management settings to best performance. There's more, most of it here: http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,71591.msg5141230.html#msg5141230 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,71591.msg5141230.html#msg5141230)

I noticed that my throttle was not giving me full power after a recent windows update.  I tried in game calibration and that didn't help.  I later tried recalibrating in windows and that did help.

Thanks for the tips. No love yet, but have not tried Windows calibration.

I am having the same problem - after the Win10 massive update, my CH USB throttle is not recognized.

Maddening.

Did you find a fix yet?  I'm still grounded with no CH Pro throttle USB connection post-Win10 update.
